Chapter 30 Summary
The four girls arrive at the beach house and immediately go into the ocean. Tibby enjoys lying on the beach under the warm sun. She can't keep the vision of her goodbyes to everyone from overwhelming her thoughts, and she knows it will be a melancholy beginning to a new part of her life. The girls receive several phone calls. First, Win calls and tells Carmen that Katherine's hockey helmet is off. Then, Valia calls to ask where the photocopy of the sketch Lena made is, since she wants to take it to Greece. Then a call comes for Bee. It is Eric, and the other girls watch her on the phone. She is in pure heaven. Then, Brian calls for Tibby, and the phones seem to keep ringing all afternoon.
The girls realize how many more people there are within their own...
