Chapter 26 Summary

Tibby leaves the hospital and walks back into the real world. She sees the harshness in it, but she is determined to allow her newfound self to confront it. She finds Brian, and they walk to Rockwood Pool and make the climb that she wasn't able to accomplish when she was with her friends. Tibby and Brian strip to their underwear and jump into the water.

Bridget is excited about Christina's baby and sends her flowers and balloons. Still, she feels a need to talk to Eric, but he seems to have left the camp for a few days. She can't understand why he would leave without telling her. She tries to call Tibby, Carmen and Lena, but none of them answer. Bridget feels alone for some reason. She doesn't enjoy her usual run.
