Chapter 25 Summary

Arriving at the hospital, David, Carmen and Win rush to the delivery room where they meet a slightly befuddled and messy Tibby in the hospital scrubs. They hurry to the room where Carmen is, and all congratulate her and look at the beautiful baby boy.

When Carmen begins to look for Tibby, she realizes that both Tibby and Win are gone, but she does find a note on the Traveling Pants from Tibby telling her to put them on and to create some wonderful memories for herself. Carmen finds Win, and they immediately hug each other. She finally confesses to him that she is not really the good person he thinks she is, but she has often been selfish and unkind. He shows relief and tells her that he was once fat. Looking at him, she sees no fat whatsoever.
