Chapters 17-19 Summary

Not sure of where to go, Skye considers what homeless people do, and goes to the library. There, she runs into Lorri, who tells her that she saw Skye and Jessica's kiss. In Chapter 18, the two girls go on a hike together, and on the way there, Skye tells Lorri everything. They decide to bury Heda, who is still in Skye's bag. They hike, and then fall asleep, cuddling, by Hedda's grave. Later, Lorri takes Skye to her house and they have a picnic by the pool, dozing together. Skye decides to help her mother, no matter how awful she's been. Finally, Skye and Lorri make out.

Making a date for that evening in Chapter 19, Lorri drops Skye at the cafe, where she runs into Mol. She tells Mol, and wonders if she's jealous; but Mol says, no, she's just her...
