Kim
Kim is a hardworking, focused, and goal-oriented child and teenager who knows that she is the only hope she and her mother have for escaping the poverty in which they live in the United States. With this idea in mind, Kim works incredibly hard to do well in school, on top of her obligations to her aunt and uncle's factory. Ultimately, Kim's hard work pays off very quickly, and she makes her way through increasingly-prestigious schools and positions until she secures a comfortable life as in medicine.
Kim's intelligence and what she describes as her "talent for school" is her most notable quality. Kim is able to succeed more than any of her classmates after putting in much less effort to complete the same work.
