Summary
Cameron has gone to the reception that Lucinda’s parent’s house after seeing the drawing of her corpse in his fourth chapter in Day Three. He wants proof that he had not imagined her. He sneaks in and goes to her room. He sees a porcelain ballerina and holds it. He looks around, goes to her closet and takes out a green velvet dress she had worn to the previous year’s Halloween party. He takes it to the bathroom and tries on the dress. Then he feels as if he is going to get sick and takes the dress of. He takes the ballerina with him, but shoves the dress under the bathroom sink.
