Summary

The second chapter on Day Three entitled Russ is told from Russ’s perspective. Russ and Detective Williams are the two policemen Jade sees. Detective Williams has taken Russ with him even though he is not supposed to be on the case. He tells him that they cannot call the person they are about to take in a suspect. However, they have to do something dramatic to make it look as if they are doing something. This is the first time Russ has caught more than a glimpse of Cynthia in years. He also sees Cameron and instantly has mixed feeling as Cameron looks like his father.
