Summary

Charlie is alone at Grit wiping down tables when a man comes in asking for coffee. Charlie makes it for him and is putting his money in the drawer when Julie sees her with the drawer open. Julie is angry and does not believe Charlie when she explains she made a to-go coffee. Julie is also upset when she sees Charlie’s arms. She orders Charlie not to wear short sleeved shirts anymore because she fears that seeing the scars might be a trigger for someone. When Riley returns to the back, he suggests that Charlie go back to long sleeved shirts. Charlie hears Evan’s voice telling her that Riley sold her out.

Later the next day, someone knocks on Riley’s window when Charlie and Riley are still sleeping in his bed. He tells Riley that Luis Alvarez has cancer...
