Summary
In Chapter 15, Aubrey spends a sleepless night and comes to the conclusion that the sand in her box has something to do with Levi, who grew up near Rocky Neck. Aubrey remembers encountering a life guard at that beach. She falls asleep, experiencing a memory and a dream. She and Charley had spent a break at Rocky Neck one July. Aubrey was beginning to have some control over her encounters with spirits. She loved the privacy of a motel room of her own, complete with cable TV. She and Charley were on the beach when Aubrey noticed a family that had four young children. Aubrey then saw the spirit of a young man dressed as a life guard.
