Chapter 12 Summary

Russel finds a payphone after two hours and calls Kevin to come pick him up. He also calls his parents to say Gunnar got a flat tire and they call AAA. Kevin arrives at 2 am to pick up Russel. Russel tells Kevin the whole story and cries in Kevin's arms. Kevin says they're a team and he would do anything for Russel.

That Monday at school, Russel sits with the jocks because Min and Gunnar are both mad at him. Suddenly, Brian is shoved into the lunch room from the theater door wearing a bra, rouge and lipstick. Everyone in the lunch room laughs and Brian pulls the bra off and heads to the bathroom to clean his face. Two jocks stroll in after, as if they don't know what's happened.
