Thompson believes that Bork's performance before the Senate Judiciary Committee will likely get Bork on the court and simultaneously undermine the presidential campaign of Democratic Senator Joe Biden, who is on the committee. Thompson writes that Biden's campaign is totally destroyed by allegations of plagiarism in his speeches.
In "Wooing the Degenerate Vote," Thompson predicts that Richard Nixon will make a comeback and run for president in 1988.
