Types of Geeks

The most obvious theme in "Geektastic" is the concept of examining different types of geeks. In "Once You're a Jedi, You're a Jedi All the Way," the idea is comparing two popular geek genres, Star Wars versus Star Trek. In "One of Us", Montgomery learns about sci-fi for her boyfriend, and Ezra, David, Mica and Ellen teach her about movies, epic books, video games and manga. "Definitional Chaos" presents two video game geeks whose conflict in Mayhem leads to a break-up in real life. In "I Never," Jane plays online games with Ben who is eager to hook up with a lonely geek girl. Jim from "The King of Pelinesse" is a geek when it comes to his favorite author, R. P. Flint.
