Catelyn finds her son's army camped near Moat Cailin, an ancient fortress of the First Men which guards the Neck. Robb shows her the letter from Sansa and they both know the words to be Cersei's. Catelyn learns Ser Jaime's army is nearing Riverrun and has already killed Lord Vance, sending his force running, while Ser Raymun Darry was killed at the Red Fork by Ser Gregor's men. Robb tells his mother of his plan to lead his army to Riverrun to lift the siege, while his main army of foot soldiers move south to intercept Lord Tywin Lannister. Robb intends to give the Greatjon command of the foot, but Catelyn talks him into giving it to Roose Bolton. Robb wants his mother to return to Winterfell, but she intends to go to...
