Chapter 24, Bran, Chapter 25, Eddard, and Chapter 26, Jon Summary
Bran is unhappy with his still recovering body, so Old Nan begins to tell him a story. The story is about a night lasting a whole generation that happened more than a thousand years before. During that winter the Others came and stole the children. The story is interrupted by Tyrion's arrival. Robb is hostile toward Tyrion, but Tyrion has drawn plans for a saddle for Bran, attempting to keep his word to Jon. While they are examining the sketch, the boys' three direwolves enter and start growling at Tyrion. The direwolves assault Tyrion, but are called off in time by the boys. Soon after, Tyrion leaves. That evening, Robb and Bran host a member of the Night's Guard for dinner. The man informs them that Benjen is probably dead. Bran...
