Celdaria is the country in which Rielle lives. It is a monarchy that is ruled by King Bastien, and the power passes down by hereditary from him to Prince Auric. It is one of the wealthiest countries in the world and acts as the central power in the novel for the Emperor.

Astavar

Astavar is the only free country in the world during Eliana's time. The Emperor has taken over the rest of the countries. Princess Navi is from Astavar, and she is so loyal to her country that she infiltrates a palace as a concubine to gather information. At the end of the book, Eliana escapes to Astavar and begins to devise a plan to fight the Emperor.
