Summary

In Chapter 14, Eliana, Remy, Navi, and Simon rode their horses north for two days and then made camp. Remy was angry with Eliana for abandoning Harkan. Remy and Navi became friends and talked about stories while Eliana kept lookout. She noticed that Simon was missing and went in search of him, but a woman approached her with a knife and knocked her out.

In Chapter 15, Rielle woke up in bed and heard the voice again. He introduced himself as Corian and Rielle felt somehow attracted to his presence in her head. The king came in with the rest of the council, along with Audric and Ludivine. Rielle, Audric, and Ludivine convinced the king to invite everyone to the trials so that they could all see Rielle’s powers.
