Summary

In Chapter 13, after seeing a picture "Diego posted" of himself and Camila online, Roxana demanded to know what was going on between them (135). It was "a picture from when [they] were eleven and thirteen" (136). Worried about the consequences of the post, Camila became anxious for Diego to leave Rosario. She told Roxana some of the details "about the weekend," but omitted others (139). Roxana did not like Diego because she feared he would distract Camila from her dreams. Camila respected Roxana's opinion, but felt as if they "were running in different directions" (140).

At school, everyone seemed to know about Camila and Diego. Roxana urged Camila to be careful when Diego sent Camila a message via Roxana’s phone. Realizing what was happening, Camila borrowed Roxana's phone, called Diego, and told him goodbye.
