Boundaries and Transgressions
The collection explores the boundaries that exist between worlds, real or imagined, and the way in which transgressing those boundaries can be a horrific experience. In “1922,” Wilfred lives on his farm with his family for years on end until he and his wife get in a fight over 100 acres of land and he decides to kill her. After the deed, his whole life changes, and he is never able to return to the previous unencumbered happiness he once enjoyed during the small moments of life.
