Summary
Wilfred’s infection turned into a terrible sickness that left him delirious and fevered. He woke up one night and watched as Arlette walked in the door with a group of rats. She walked up to Wilfred and bent down to whisper in his ear all the things that had and would happen to Henry.
Henry had robbed the store for 200 dollars and purchased a bike, then discovered a shed where he could hide. Instead of going straight to Shannon, he staked out an ice cream stand near St. Eusebia and waited for an adventurous girl who smoked to sneak into the ally and ask him for a cigarette.
