Summary
The production crew that works with Ree to film “The Pioneer Woman” is from London. This resulted in ‘culture shock’ for the crew as they adjusted to ranching life during the first periods that they filmed with Ree. They met the cowboys on the ranch, learned about America’s love for Velveeta cheese and foods like ‘chicken-fried steak,’ and took pictures of the spiders on the ranch. Ree found this especially humorous because the production crew also filmed the show “Barefoot Contessa,” which is set in the more sophisticated environment of the Hamptons.
