Summary

In Chapter 7 of the ‘Motherhood’ section, “Wrong Mother,” Ree describes her relationship with her daughter, Paige. As a baby, Paige was the most physically dependent on Ree out of all of Ree’s children; Paige also suffered from separation anxiety whenever Ree had to leave her. However, Paige grew up to be fiercely independent, confident, and headstrong.
