Chapters 17-19 Summary
Bond is overwhelmed by the brief sight of Tatiana he was able to get. Bond thinks she is beautiful and his ego is inflated with the idea that she is in love with him, even though she has yet to meet him. Bond cannot stop thinking about her, and is only able to put her out of his mind when he is picked up to go to dinner with Kerim. Kerim takes Bond to the home of a gypsy friend of his who is supposed to give him information on the bomb that exploded in his office a few days before. They are followed to the house by a motor scooter.
Once there, the gypsy hesitates to allow Bond into his compound because they are scheduled to witness a fight between two women who are in love with the same man...
