Chapters 14-16 Summary
Bond woke early the next morning, unhappy with the bug bites all over his body from the infested hotel room. Bond chose the hotel because he does not like big name hotels, but found this particular room to be subpar. However, he does not complain, nor does he arrange to move. Bond goes downstairs after breakfast and meets the chauffer who will take him to meet the leader of the local MI5 station, Darko Kerim. Bond finds Kerim to be a friendly, open man who is the type of man he feels he could count as a good friend.
Bond tells Kerim about the motor scooter he heard following him last night and Kerim tells him that it was part of a group of men he calls the 'faceless ones' who often follow his car in order to keep tabs on...
