Summary
Part Three is titled Justice for Vincent Chin. Chapter 11 is titled “The Warrior.” Liza Chan craved strenuous activities, but health issues prevented her fro participating. She became an attorney, thinking she could do some good in the world. She was soon disillusioned with the tedium of writing legal briefs. Henry Yee invited her to the first meeting about Vincent Chin. She declined, fearing it would risk her temporary visa status. The next day, fellow attorney Dan Hoekenga asked what she was going to do about this. Chan realized she could do some good here.
