Summary
Chapter 15, “Dinner for Thirteen, One Absent,” begins as Anya and Ardent get out of their baths. Anya wonders who else might be coming to dinner as there were 13 places set at the table, and Ardent recites a poem from a story about Snow White the Wizard and the seven dwarves. Anya starts to think about her Quest and the Bill of Rights and Wrongs. She also starts to wonder about her mother, thinking of the red woolly. Anya remembers her mother’s love, and overhearing her talk about doing the right thing no matter what.
