Summary

“Friday Black” takes place in Prominent Mall during a Black Friday sale in an apocalyptic time period in which all the shoppers are bloodthirsty zombies. The unnamed narrator is a top salesman at a coat store, and he can understand the zombies' speech because he was once bitten by one of them. There is a contest at the store, and whoever sells the most will get a free coat. The narrator has already chosen one he wishes to give to his mother. The sale begins in chaos as zombies push each other through the store. An employee on a forklift moves the stampeded dead out of the way.
