Summary

In Chapter 6, “dying,” Frank visits with Q and his family for dinner. Q is frustrated because Frank keeps texting Brit. At dinner, Q’s father congratulates Frank on having a girlfriend and asks if she is very “dope” (54), a question that makes Frank laugh. Later, Q tries to show Frank his new game, but Frank continues texting Brit.

In Chapter 7, “planet frank,” at The Store, Frank’s father greets a Mexican named Luis, who has just gotten out of jail. His wife and baby daughter are with him. Frank notices how Luis studies him and knows it is because they are from two different worlds. Frank’s father gives diapers and beer to Luis without charging him.
