Marv looks at his disfigured, scarred face in the mirror. He takes time to prepare himself mentally, to experience his fear so that he can get rid of it. He imagines dying, being shot in the head. Then he thinks that he's just as likely to have to go through a trial and be executed in the electric chair. He's ready to be called a psycho killer, if he does what he needs to do right.
