Basgiath War College

Basgiath War College is in the capital of the nation of Navarre, and is the main setting of the majority of the novel. This war college is the base of the partnership with dragons. The military is trained in three different quadrants, either to be Scribes, Infantry, or Riders. They are trained over the span of three years once they turn 20. All three of the quadrants are connected in one facility.

The Archives

The Archives are the Scribe headquarters and are a complex system of libraries underneath Basgiath War College. Violet considers this complex her safe space. In her most dangerous and frightening moments, Violet visualizes the Archives. The Archives is also where Violet spent most of her childhood and where most of her memories with her father are.
