Chapters 13 and 14 Summary

Kalgan is a luxury planet. Bayta and Toran are there on a "honeymoon," though they are hoping to locate the Mule. On Kalgan, the warlord who had been holding court there has been defeated by an "unknown with a ridiculous name." Bayta and Toran are spending their time on the planet enjoying the sunshine - a commodity missing on Haven II. Bayta is convinced the Mule exists. They are arguing the intricacies of Seldon's Plan when Bayta's attention is caught by a spindly clown entertaining the tourists. He's chased by a guard but stops when he sees Bayta. He quickly engages her in brief conversation, and Toran offers to pay him for his entertainment but he declines. He does say that he's in trouble, and it's Bayta who says she doesn't know how they could help him. The guard catches up...
