Comporellon - On Comporellon Summary
As they begin their approach to the planet, Trevize tells them how he got past the entry point. During the conversation, Pelorat assures Bliss that he has no wife and offers to marry her. Bliss says it's only "Isolates" - her word for those who are not part of Gaia and the collective consciousness - who need that ritual. However, she is outraged once she learns that Trevize also told the guard that she onboard for Pelorat's sexual diversion. That sparks a debate over whether it's right to lie, and which laws and rules are to be enforced.
Trevize continues to argue that the greater good of humankind is served by individuals who dare to challenge the system, even when those challenges are against the law. Bliss argues that without adhering to laws and rules, society breaks...
