Chapter 37 Summary

Maria wakes and they make love. She tells him there is no pain. Robert Jordan thanks her and says he loves her. She tells him they have had good fortune and Robert Jordan agrees. He silently wishes he were not going to die today. Robert Jordan thinks of Anselmo and Agustin and how much they have become like family in such a short time.
