Anacreon

A province of the Milky Way Galaxy, having few stars and no political importance, Anacreon is located some 10,000 parsecs from Trantor. During the era of military junta, Anacreon becomes the target of an Imperial show of force that psychohistory shows will matter nothing. Hari Seldon tries to overhear talk about an Imperial incursion meant to bring the Governor in line. Late in the novel, in troubled times throughout the Galaxy, Hari's daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Manella and Bellis Seldon, are lost on a flight to the planet Anacreon and are presumed killed. Anacreon is also home to Mandell Gruber, the gardener who assassinates Emperor Cleon I.
