Chapters 31 - 40. Summary

In Chapter 31, London's mom comes home and she decides to hide Luke in her closet instead of asking him to leave. Luke told his parents he was spending the night at Adam's house. He planned to wait in his van all night if that was what it took to get London to forgive him. After her mother checks on her, London crosses the dark room to the closet. She and Luke begin to make out in the closet. They don't have sex, but both of them end up shirtless. London dresses for bed and asks Luke to lie with her. He says he will until she falls asleep, then will return to the closet. He doesn't want her mom finding them in the morning.
