Summary

In Chapter Ten, Stevie and her mom decide to get a sandwich for Nora. They bring it to Martin’s Meats, the store Nora’s mom runs on her farm. Mrs. Martin greets them rudely and complains that Nora has been missing work to visit Stevie. She says they can leave the sandwich, but warns them Nora will not eat it. They leave the store and Stevie’s mom expresses anger with Nora’s mom for being so rude. Nora writes Stevie another letter. She expresses her confusion and fear about how to make Stevie remember her.

In Chapter 11, Savannah and Rory come over to visit Stevie. They go up to her room and tease her about her amnesia, asking her if she remembers her pregnancy scare before telling her they are just kidding. Stevie asks them about the last two years, but...
