Summary

In Chapter Three, Stevie drives out to the edge of the farm that Nora’s family owns and meets her in their secret spot in the woods. Stevie tells her that she loves her, and the two girls kiss. Nora tells Stevie that she switched shifts to meet up, and Stevie gets upset because she worries someone might notice something strange is going on. Nora reassures her that everything is fine, and the girls walk down their path together. Nora reveals that she just heard back from their favorite apartment, and they will be moving in on September 10th if they put the security deposit down by Friday. The girls talk excitedly about buying furniture and starting their new life. Nora walks over a fallen tree trunk perched over a ravine and encourages Stevie to follow her.
