The South of France is located in France, and is the setting for much of the novel For Love of Evil by Piers Anthony. It is where Parry is born and raised and where he marries Jolie. It is where Jolie and the Sorcerer are killed and where Parry flees.

Hell

Hell is the Realm of Evil, the antithesis to Heaven. It is ruled first by Lucifer and later by Parry, who seeks to reorganize and reform it.

Heaven

Heaven is the Realm of Good and Light, overseen by God and His angels, and is the antithesis to Hell. It is where Parry visits and strikes a wager with the angel, Gabriel.
