Summary

Chapter 15. Dresden uses magic to stun MacFinn. When he recovers, Tera helps him to his feet. They greet one another affectionately. Afterward, MacFinn admits that he likely killed Kim, but he rarely remembers what happened while he was in his loup-garou form. MacFinn also tells Dresden that someone purposely messed up his original circle of protection, the one thing that kept him from killing in his loup-garou form. He hired Kim to make a new one and she said she could, but hers failed. Now MacFinn needs Dresden to make a new one. Dresden agrees, but tells them they must get out of the park because the police would be there soon. The name of the park would give them away. Before they could leave, however, Dresden hears Murphy’s voice. Tera runs off to distract the police while MacFinn and Dresden run...
