Summary
Joseph spots Stuart from his car and invites him in for a drive in “Joseph”. It is the day Florence would have left for France. They drive to Highlands. They watch the boat Florence would have been on leave the harbor. Stuart gives Joseph the letter from Florence’s other swim coach. Enclosed is $1200: the deposit for Florence’s race. Back at the office, Joseph immediately puts the money into a bank account for Anna’s parents. In the elevator, Isaac tells Joseph about the Florida deal. Joseph is disappointed at Isaac’s lack of judgement and reminds him of the money he owes him. Once at home, Esther tells Joseph she wants Anna gone.
In “Isaac,” Isaac storms off to the hospital with the intention of telling Fannie about Florence’s death in order to get back at the Adlers...
