Summary
Joseph buys an expensive beach chair in “Joseph.” He sets it up in his office and sits shiva for his daughter. Back in his home, he searches for Florence’s address book so that he may contact her other swimming coaches to tell them of her passing. Anna helps him look and the two of them bond. Her mother, Inez, was Joseph’s fiancé before he left for America. Esther does not know this. They do not find the address book, but Anna suggests he asks Stuart to contact them. Joseph summons Stuart to his office and entrusts him with the aforementioned task, which Stuart agrees to undertake. There is a knock on the door. It is Anna.
