Summary

The narrative exposits upon Toby’s early love life. He lost his virginity in college, but he did not have sex very often, and he only had two sexual partners before meeting Rachel. Toby attended medical school at New York University. One night, he attended a party at Columbia University and encountered Rachel there. They quickly established a friendly and exciting rapport. Rachel was lively and said that she wanted to go into a career that revolved around negotiating. They began dating and having sex.
