Summary
Fleabag recalls an anecdote about Harry vomiting on a stranger when he was hungover. She reveals that recently she heard Harry talking to her when he thought she was asleep. He was asking her, “Where have you gone?” (26)
The monologue returns to the present. Fleabag and Tube Rodent are getting onto the tube. Fleabag suggests Tube Rodent should come back to her place and he declines, citing the fact he has work the following morning. Fleabag suggests she could come to his place instead, which he also rebuffs. Fleabag loses her temper and asks what’s wrong and Tube Rodent replies that he would just like to get to know her better and take things slow. Fleabag curses at him, calls him pathetic, and storms off.
