Summary
Part Two of the book begins with Chapter 13 as Julie is preparing to go home to Ohio for Thanksgiving. She almost wishes she was staying in Boston since she has so much work to do. Erin eases her load by giving her access to research materials at Harvard. Julie asks Erin about Finn as a student.
Julie refuses a ride to the airport. On her way she stops to see Dr. Cooley, her psych professor. Julie tells Dr. Cooley about the Watkins family and wants to get his opinion. Dr. Cooley says it is difficult to give an opinion but wants to hear more about the family, albeit in a hypothetical way. Julie explains about Erin, Matt, and Celeste. Dr. Cooley asks about Roger’s role in the family. Julie asks for confirmation that there is something wrong in the house...
