Allahabad
A city in north-central India at the junction of the Jumna and Ganges rivers, Allahabad is the scene of a fighting during the 1857-58 Indian Mutiny. When the beleaguered British defenders of Cawnpore look to escape, they head downriver to Allahabad not knowing it is also under siege.
