Soon enough, former employees of large Wall Street banks flocked to RBC for jobs. One of those aspiring to work for RBC was John Schwall, a former employee of Banc of America Securities. After Banc of America was absorbed by Merrill Lynch, Schwall was confronted with the ugly side of Wall Street acquisitions. Many of his friends were fired while the corporate executives pocketed millions of dollars in bonuses, showcasing how Wall Street had little corporate loyalty to employees. Brad hired Schwall to be a project manager, a bridge of communication between RBC computer programmers and traders on the Wall Street floor.
