Summary

In Chapter 37, Arthur’s behavior indicated that Arthur was the mole. Simon searched Arthur and located a round plastic device in Arthur’s pants. Arthur tried to tell Oliver that it was not a microphone. It was his only way to communicate with the sniper. However, Oliver had already thrown the device out the window. Arthur said it was a remote control for a light he had attached to the top of the RV.

Arthur said the sniper was not supposed to shoot anyone. He had thought he would just shoot out Don and Joyce’s tires to trap them there. He thought the sniper would just take a warning shot at Maddy to scare her.
