Summary
Neve and Edwyn are newlyweds living in Edwyn’s apartment on the outskirts of London. They were married in June and did not have a ceremony or party, opting instead for a legal union at a government building. The opening scene depicts Neve, alone in Edwyn’s apartment and waiting for his silhouette to appear on the street below so that she can talk to someone after being alone in the apartment all day. Neve sits among unpacked boxes of her belongings, despite the fact that she has been living in Edywn’s flat for many months now.
