Chapters 15 & 16 Summary
Scout and Lily wake frantically the next morning, late for their classes as usual. On their way, MK ruefully mocks Lily for "falling down the stairs" saying, "How lame are you when you can't walk up a flight of stairs without falling down" (Page 180). Rather than engage with MK's childish taunting, Lily and Scout ignore her and continue on their way. During lunch break, Scout takes Lily on another tour of the city. She explains that there are lots of people who live in Chicago, not just the spoiled, rich kids of St. Sophia's. She looks around at the old architecture and people bustling down the street with such a love in her eyes, it's almost contagious.
