Chapters 24 through 26 Summary

In Chapter twenty-four, Brooklyn says she doesn't want Jacinda in the school. Jacinda responds that she doesn't want to be there but doesn't have a choice. Brooklyn's response is that she will allow Tamra to be on the cheer squad if Jacinda stops "throwing herself" at Will. Then Brooklyn's attack becomes physical and Jacinda is thrown to the floor where she's hit and kicked. She releases steam and the fight ends abruptly with Brooklyn accusing Jacinda of burning her. They attack again and this time the fear pushes Jacinda into the first stages of manifestation. She rushes into a stall, hoping the others haven't seen her.

In Chapter twenty-five, Jacinda remains in the bathroom stall and is still there when she hears Will's voice. The girls leave the bathroom as Jacinda fights to demanifest. Then she hears Will's voice above her...
