Summary

Fiona gets brunch with her Black friend Tish in “Doppelgängers.” She tells Tish about Gabriel, the Puerto Rican guy she hooked up with the night before. The waiter tells Tish she looks like Tyra Banks, which annoys her. He even tries to touch her hair. Tish pays for brunch. Fiona has no money. Her ex, Willy, scammed her a few months ago.

That afternoon, Fiona gets a call from Mom. Mom asks Fiona for money. She wants them to go into business together. When Mom explains the nature of this vitamin-selling business, Fiona tells her it is a pyramid scheme. Fiona goes for a walk, subconsciously searching for Willy’s face wherever she goes.

Later that week, Fiona meets Gabriel for dinner. He compliments her. Fiona invites him over for rum afterwards. As she sits in his lap, Gabriel...
